Job summary

Spencer Britt is seeking a compassionate BC/BE Surgical Intensivist for a full-time role combining Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery in the Boston area. The position splits ICU coverage with routine General Surgery procedures, with opportunities to contribute to a multidisciplinary ICU team and a Surgical Step-Down Unit.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgical Critical Care is required, along with leadership and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Comfortable managing the full spectrum of critical care.
• Experience performing routine General Surgery procedures.
• Strong teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Split clinical duties between Surgical Critical Care/ICU coverage and General Surgery.
• Provide care for both surgical and medical ICU patients.
• Participate in development of a Surgical Step-Down Unit.
• Lead or participate in education of residents and PAs.
• Collaborate to build a multidisciplinary ICU team.

• Full-time Surgical Critical Care / General Surgery position
