Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Edgewood Hospital campus. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

The RN will provide evidence-based nursing care, work with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold compassionate patient-centered care across diverse populations within Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio communities served.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing.
• Compact (multi-state) License in primary state of residence (if eligible).
• Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including state-required courses.
• Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures.
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every encounter with patients and families.
