Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ICU setting. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans while documenting care in the medical record and supporting families.

Required qualifications include RN licensure, ACLS and BLS within 30 days of start date, and an Associate Degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS credentials must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN – Registered Nurse with active licensure in the state.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU.
• Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
• Document care in the patient medical record in a timely, accurate manner.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices in the unit.
