ServiceMaster Elite Clean is seeking a dependable EVS Surgery Tech to join our Environmental Services team in Baton Rouge. This daytime role cleans and prepares operating rooms between procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and readiness for the next patient.

The position offers a daytime schedule, paid training, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team focused on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare or EVS cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect operating rooms between surgical cases.
• Remove waste, linens, and soiled materials according to hospital protocols.
• Sanitize surgical equipment surfaces, furniture, floors, and high-touch areas.
• Restock supplies as needed to prepare rooms for the next procedure.
• Follow all infection prevention, safety, and OSHA guidelines.
• Respond promptly to requests from surgical staff to ensure efficient room turnover.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare environment.
