Job summary

SF Oral Surgery in San Francisco seeks a Surgical Dental Assistant to join a fast-paced, high-tech team. You will assist in oral surgery, manage trays and sterilization, record vitals, and support patients through visits.

Current DA/RDA license and oral surgery experience are a plus. We offer training opportunities, a competitive hourly rate, and a comprehensive benefits package in a modern office.

Qualifications

• Vaccinations: Hep B & Tetanus.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Infection Control, X-ray License.
• Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant Certification (preferred).
• Reliable, able to be on-call, and able to stand for long periods.

What You’ll Do

Every day will bring variety and challenge. You’ll be:

• Assisting in oral surgery procedures (local & IV sedation)
• Preparing trays, sterilizing equipment, maintaining stock
• Recording vitals, assisting in consults, and supporting patients throughout their visit
• Preparing medications, assisting with anesthesia, and delivering clear post-op instructions
• Taking x-rays, impressions, and photos as needed
• Ensuring smooth communication with referral doctors and keeping treatment plans organized

Requirements

• Vaccinations: Hep B & Tetanus
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Infection Control, X-ray License
• Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant Certification (preferred)
• Consistent reliability, willingness to be on-call, and ability to work on your feet
