Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare seeks a Surgical/Critical Care Trauma Surgeon to join our new Regional Trauma Center team in the Charleston, SC area. The position is inpatient-only and full-time, with coverage across multiple RSF hospitals.

The role includes ICU coverage one week per month, trauma/acute care call responsibilities, and care for patients aged 18 and older. Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available as we expand, with a new RSF medical campus opening in 2029.

Qualifications

• MD or DO; board certified in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Acute Care Surgery, Trauma Surgery, and/or Surgical Critical Care required.

Surgical/Critical Care Trauma Surgeon

Roper St. Francis Healthcare (RSFH) is seeking surgical/critical care physicians to join our new Regional Trauma Center team, which will include four physicians and eight advanced practitioners. This position will be based at Roper Hospital, Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, RSF Berkeley Hospital and RSF Mount Pleasant Hospital in the greater Charleston, SC area.
Qualifications:
MD or DO; board certified in General Surgery.
Fellowship training in Acute Care Surgery, Trauma Surgery, and/or Surgical Critical Care required.

Experience preferred.
