Carle Health is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) who will provide professional bedside care to a group of patients using the nursing process, collaborating with the healthcare team, and documenting care accurately to ensure continuity of information for the care plan. The position requires ACLS and BLS certifications, an Illinois RN license, and a Nursing Diploma.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 1 year (AHA)

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice; maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
• Assesses patients on admission and develops a plan of care based on needs; implements and adjusts the plan.
• Ensures patient and employee safety by reporting and correcting hazards/incidents.
• Fulfills departmental competencies and engages in professional development.
