Job summary

Southpoint Surgery Center, an affiliate of North Carolina Specialty Hospital, is seeking an EVS Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments across operating rooms, patient rooms, bathrooms, and offices. Under supervision of the EVS Supervisor, you will help create a welcoming, high-quality facility in the Durham-Southpoint area.

Weekend rotation required. High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year experience in ambulatory settings preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
• 1 year experience of Environmental Services and/or housekeeping in ambulatory/surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean operating rooms, patient areas, and offices per policy.
• Stock supplies and maintain PAR levels daily.
• Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures; use PPE.
• Assist with overall cleanliness and safety, including signage.
• Weekend rotation required.
