• Assist with safe transportation and positioning of surgical patients under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Support daily Surgical Services operations by performing cleaning, housekeeping, restocking, and supply ordering to maintain readiness of surgical suites.
• Staff the Central Core by organizing, preparing, and distributing supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist with clerical and unit coordination tasks, including maintaining surgery schedules, computer logging, and supporting communication at the control desk.
• Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe surgical environment per infection-prevention and safety standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, surgical, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow, timely case turnover, and effective communication throughout the department.
