The Veterinary Referral Center (VRC) in Malvern, PA, a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital, seeks a Surgical Appointment Veterinary Nurse to join a team of experienced veterinarians and nurses.

You will run daily appointments with the surgeon, obtain patient history and vitals, assist in procedures, perform diagnostics, fill medications, and document in medical records while communicating with clients. On-call once monthly; comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of veterinary experience.
• Proficient calculations for drugs, infusions, conversions.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Run daily appointments with the surgeon.
• Obtain patient history and vitals for the doctor.
• Perform diagnostic testing and assist in procedures.
• Administer and fill medications for home use.
• Document in the patient’s medical record and communicate with clients.
• Admit patients for hospitalization/surgical procedures.
