Job summary

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Surgical Associates team. This full-time role cares for patients in the outpatient surgical office as well as in the operating room.

Weekend call is 1:4 and may include regional coverage of Pen Bay and Waldo for first-assist. The ideal candidate works in a fast-paced environment and collaborates with General Surgeons, Anesthesia, Orthopedics, and ENT providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Graduate of an accredited AGNP acute care nurse practitioner program or PA program.
• Maine NP or PA license and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients in outpatient surgical office and in the operating room.
• Provide consultations in the office and assist on procedures in the OR.
• Collaborate with general surgeons, anesthesia, orthopedics and ENT providers.
