Job summary

Role requires NY RN licensure, BSN preferred, BLS/CPR, and 1–2 years in Pre-Op/PACU. Shifts include early mornings, evenings, and one Saturday every six weeks; 40-hour week rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; NY RN licensure required.
• BSN preferred; BLS/CPR certification; CNOR/CPAN a plus.
• 1–2 years of pre-op, PACU, or perioperative nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery, including history review and preop meds.
• Monitor in Pre-Op; ensure stability for anesthesia transition and PACU readiness.
• Provide immediate post-anesthesia care and educate on recovery and discharge.
