Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year Telemetry experience in a medical/surgical acute care setting as an RN
• Active California RN license
• BLS - American Heart Association
• ACLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Perform total body and system assessments each shift/visit per unit standards
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and educate on patient care
• Apply clinical/technical skills and follow unit protocols and procedures
• Maintain legible, timely, accurate documentation in the computerized system
• Demonstrate leadership by accepting accountability and following facility direction
• Precept/mentor new staff and students, serving as a resource across nursing departments
