Job summary

Scripps Green Hospital in San Diego is seeking a Registered Nurse for Surgical Acute, a 34-bed unit with all-private rooms. The RN team provides care with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and collaborates with Patient Care Assistants and other staff.

You will assess, plan, and implement care within your scope, work with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes, and be eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice.
• Assess, plan and implement a plan of care and evaluate patients' progress toward expected outcomes.
• RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under your supervision.
• Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
