Job summary

A leading veterinary care provider in Portland, Oregon, is seeking full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (CVT/LVT/RVT) to support its Emergency Surgery and new Appointment-Based Surgery teams. You will provide surgical and anesthesia nursing support, ensuring high-quality patient care, and you will serve as a liaison among surgeons and clients. Ideal candidates must have current credentials, a degree in veterinary technology, and strong nursing fundamentals. Opportunities for continuous education and mentoring are available.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Veterinary Technician status in Oregon or applicable credentials.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Guide preparation and flow of surgical cases.
• Provide surgical and anesthesia nursing support.
• Administer medications and calculate dosages accurately.
• Monitor vitals and ensure patient comfort.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and educate Veterinary Assistants.
