We are a thriving, privately owned specialty veterinary hospital opening a new location in Orange Park, FL, and we’re looking for experienced Surgery Veterinary Technicians to join our high-performing, compassionate team.

Available Shifts:

• Day Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday) • Day Shift 2: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday) • Day Shift 3: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday–Friday) • *Saturday reduced shift on rotation

Your Role:

• Assist in patient prep and recovery for surgical procedures • Monitor anesthesia and maintain surgical records with accuracy • Maintain sterile environments and assist with instrument sterilization • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical process • Collaborate with board-certified Surgeons, Anesthetists, and the nursing team

Advanced Surgery Tech Skills You'll Use and Develop:

• Surgical patient prep and positioning • IV catheter placement and fluid therapy • Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery • Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and sterile technique • Pain management and post-op care • Proper documentation and patient hand-offs

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years of veterinary surgical or anesthesia experience • Strong technical and animal handling skills • Calm, detail-oriented mindset in a surgical setting • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Passion for surgical patient care and professional development
