Job summary

MedVet in Utah is seeking a Surgery Technician Assistant to support our fast-paced surgery team. This role focuses on patient care, accurate documentation, and collaboration with surgeons and clients. Proposed schedule Mon-Fri 8a-4p, with an initial pay range of $17-19 per hour based on experience.

The team offers training across department facets and opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate communicates well, works well in a team, stays organized, and can adapt to a busy hospital

• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
• Work successfully as a team member and autonomously.

• Effective patient restraint.
• Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior veterinary experience required.

We are looking for: Surgery Technician Assistant

Proposed Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-4p

This role has an initial hiring range of $17-19/hr based on experience.

Our Surgery team is a fast-paced environment, perfect for someone that is looking for training in multiple facets of the department and interaction with the other teams in the hospital. This team requires strong communication skills to liaison between surgeons and clients and deliver post-operative care instructions.
