Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• Must have experience in surgery

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients
• Greet patients and their owners as they arrive, recording weight and vital signs
• Triage patients, assist with treatments and administer medications as directed by licensed staff
• Calm and soothe anxious patients
• Assist doctors and technicians with medication administration or restraints
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs
• Operate and maintain hospital equipment (EKG, pumps, scales, monitors)
• Log and secure medications and maintain proper documentation
