Job summary

Hudson Veterinary Care in Hudson, NH is seeking a compassionate Surgery Veterinary Technician to join a supportive team. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and maintain high standards of patient care and client communication.

Requirements include 1+ year veterinary experience or education, NH credentialing or eligibility for transfer, and the ability to lift 50 pounds; prior surgery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year veterinary experience or education.
• Credentialed in NH or eligible for transfer.
• Prior surgery experience required.
• Team-oriented and able to multitask; able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
• Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas
• Perform physical assessments and record your observations
• Prepare estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clients
• Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions
• Stock clinic treatment area and exam rooms, and inform inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered
