Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Surgery RN for a full-time day shift (6:30 am–5:00 pm) with call rotation. The role requires an active AL or multi-state RN license, BLS and ACLS, plus surgery experience preferred.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered with at least two years of Surgery RN experience. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, manage unit resources, and collaborate with the health care team.

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care for the assigned patients on the unit during a shift. The RN is responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice, which includes managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment on the unit, and for the promoting collaboration with all members of the health care team.
