Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking an OR RN to join the surgical team. The RN delivers and documents patient care during the intra-operative period, assesses needs, and plans nursing care in line with perioperative standards.

Strong teamwork and adherence to policies are essential. Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with Idaho RN licensure and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Idaho.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document patient care during the intra-operative period.
• Assess patient needs physically and emotionally and plan nursing care accordingly.
• Maintain adherence to perioperative policies and standards of practice.
• Monitor compliance to standards and procedures for surgical scrubs.

Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Registered Nurse to join our team!JOB SUMMARY: The Operating Room RN is responsible for the delivery and documentation of patient care during the intra-operative period. The RN will assess the patient’s needs, physiologically as well as emotionally, and plan nursing care accordingly. The nursing role during this phase focuses on providing quality patient care through familiarity with and adherence to policies and procedures, and standards of practice for perioperative nursing. She/he will also monitor compliance to established standards and policies and procedures for surgical scrubs.
