Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a staff RN to provide professional nursing care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. The role requires on-call rotation and the ability to arrive within 20 minutes.

Eligible candidates may receive sign-on and relocation bonuses, with external candidates also considered. Responsibilities include initial assessments, care planning, documentation, and ensuring patient safety throughout perioperative and recovery care.

Qualifications

• PALS within 1 year per AHA.
• BLS within 30 days per AHA.
• ACLS within 1 year per AHA.
• Licensed RN in Illinois (IDFPR).
• Education: College Diploma in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care for the healthcare team.
• Completes initial assessment and develops a care plan based on patient needs.
• Implements and adjusts care plan and nursing interventions as needed.
• Ensures patient and employee safety and reports hazards.
