Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiological Sciences or an accepted equivalent.
• ARRT and state licensure are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X ray imaging following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Verify imaging orders and communicate discrepancies with providers and staff.
• Greet, identify, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Explain procedures clearly while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain imaging records using RIS, Epic, and PACS/Synapse per HIPAA and policies.
• Operate radiology equipment including C arm and portable units.
