North Pittsburgh Oral Surgery, a private practice located in Cranberry Township, is dedicated to fostering a professional, rewarding, and engaging work environment for all our employees. Our vision is to be recognized as the leading oral surgery practice in western Pennsylvania.

We are currently seeking a Surgical Assistant to join our Clinical Team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during oral surgical procedures in a clinic
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
• Set up sterile fields and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques
• Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records using DSN and other electronic systems
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
• Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients

Requirements

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with DSN or other electronic medical record systems
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Must be willing to obtain X-Ray Certification
• CPR Certification Required
