Job summary

Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute is seeking a part-time Surgery Assistant to support the physician and surgical team, ensuring high-quality patient care. Duties include sterilizing instruments, assisting Circulator/Scrub, and maintaining a positive, collaborative environment.

The role is entry-level with training provided, reports to the Site Manager, and requires availability Mon-Thu 7:00 am–6:00 pm plus a 50-lb lifting capability. WA licensing/training available.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication is required.
• Knowledge and comfort with Microsoft Office programs and keyboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist Circulator, Scrub and Physician by cleaning surgical instruments and providing sterilized instruments for each case.
• Support and work alongside the Physician and surgical team to provide an outstanding patient experience.
• Entry level position with training provided.

In a positive and cheerful manner, support and work alongside the Physician and other members of the surgical team to provide an outstanding patient experience. Work with the team to assure that the PCLI philosophy of quality and caring treatment of patients and staff is upheld in all daily surgical activities. Assist Circulator, Scrub and Physician by cleaning surgical instruments and providing sterilized instruments for each case. (Entry level position - training provided.)

SCHEDULE

Availability to work within these days and hours REQUIRED: Monday-Thursday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent written and oral communication
