Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Surface Warfare Military Operations Analyst to join the Alexandria, VA team.

You will develop concepts of operations and capability plans, translating them into detailed descriptions used to support tactical, operational, and strategic warfare analysis. You will conduct effectiveness analyses of alternatives across science and technology, research and development, and program acquisition, and support or lead the development and use of modeling

Qualifications

• Qualified Surface Warfare Officer with 3–5 years of surface warfare experience.
• Experience in IAMD, ASuW, or ASW mission areas.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts of operations and capability plans for warfare analysis.
• Conduct military effectiveness analysis across S&T, R&D, and program acquisition.
• Develop and employ modeling and simulation tools and briefing results to government decision makers.
