Job summary

The Redpath Group is seeking a capable surface laborer to join our mining team at our Superior, AZ site. You will assist with surface duties, operate forklifts and light equipment, and help ensure safe, efficient production with adherence to company policies.

Preferred candidates have at least 1 year of related experience and a valid driver’s license. Training on site will cover task specifics and safety procedures. This role may require overtime and night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher education.
• Experience in surface labor or relevant roles preferred.
• Underground mining experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Proficient with computers and basic software tools.
• Ability to use hand tools and layout tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surface duties: loading machinery and setting up jobs.
• Operate heavy equipment when required and maintain safe work areas.
• Load/unload materials and deliver parts to designated areas.
• Follow safety directives, identify hazards, and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
