Job summary

Orlando Health, located in Wesley Chapel, FL, seeks a Supervisor of Imaging Services & DME to plan, develop, and supervise Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and DME services. The role requires leadership to ensure timely, accurate patient care across the West Region.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida State Certified Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT or ARDMS credentials, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

  • Florida State Certified Radiologic Technologist license required.
  • ARRT certification and BLS/Health Care Provider certification required, or ARDMS and BLS/Health Care Provider certification.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, organizes and supervises Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and DME services.
  • Maintains inventory for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) across locations.
  • Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, Florida Department of Health, and NRC standards.
  • Provides documentation of budgetary, procedural, performance, and regulatory standards.
  • Supervises hiring, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions; supports staff development.

Education

Job Summary: Plans, develops, organizes, and supervises the services of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Durable MedicalEquipment (DME), assuring continual, timely, and accurate services to patients.

Qualifications
Essential Functions
  • Adheres to policy, procedures, mission statements, and Commitment to Excellence standards.
  • Works with corporate team to set standards that meet all regulatory bodies to include Joint Commission, Florida Department of Health, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
  • Plans and assists in the development of new programs and diagnostic services.
  • Takes responsibility for professional development of self and all staff members.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate documentation of budgetary, procedural, performance, and regulatory standards.
  • Provides statistics, executive summaries, and performance summaries to administrator as requested.
  • Works with other departments and on other projects to ensure organized and effective departmental functionality.
  • Effectively and accurately utilizes Corporate Radiology computer systems.
  • Provides assistance to patients and physicians on durable medical equipment (DME).
  • Maintains inventory for durable medical equipment (DME) for all practice locations.
  • Provides assistance to patients and staff with billing and insurance process.
  • Supervises various human resources functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other Related Functions
  • Attends and conducts meetings with staff, physicians, and vendors as necessary.
Education/Training
  • Associate required and
  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology. required
Licensure/Certification
  • Maintains current Florida State Certified Radiologic Technologist License AND Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND BLS/Health Care Provider certification. required or
  • Maintains current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) AND BLS/Health Care Provider certification. required
Experience
  • 1 Year in Radiology or Radiology Specialty, as applicable for area. (EEG. MRI, Sonography, CT, etc.).
