Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. provides support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them live valued lives in the community across multiple states.

The role includes assisting with housing search, daily living skills training, personal finance guidance, safety coaching, and ensuring documentation complies with regulations. A pre-employment background check, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment Background and Drug screenings.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have driving experience (min 3 years).
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or associate’s degree with 2 years’ experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities or High School diploma or GED and 4 years of experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists individuals in finding and maintaining housing per person-directed plan and financial profile.
• Provides training in daily living skills, personal finance, safety, social skills, and self-advocacy to promote independence.
• Provides services and documentation according to regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Purpose: To provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug screenings


• Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience


• Must possess basic computer skills


• Bachelor’s degree in human services or associate’s degree with 2 years’ experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities or High School diploma or GED and 4 years of experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Essential Functions

• Assists the individual in finding and maintaining housing according to their person directed plan and financial profile

Contract and Compensation

Hourly: $17.00 SR97A11

This position will remain open until filled.

Compensation and benefits estimated range: the pay range represents the base hourly rate or salary that the company in good faith believes it will pay for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation is determined by factors including geographic location, skills, education and relevant experience.
