Job summary

North Star Community Services in Waterloo seeks a Service Coordinator for our Supported Living Program. You will supervise, train, schedule, and direct support professional staff, acting as a resource for staff and maintaining positive relationships with persons served and their families.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in human services or related field (preferred) and experience with people with disabilities, plus proficiency with Word, Excel, and Office 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field (preferred) or equivalent education and experience
• Two years of progressive experience working with persons with disabilities (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office 365; keyboarding skills
• Have a reliable vehicle to fulfill responsibilities in the absence of the agency vehicle
