Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Sprinkler Install Support Technician to assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems. Under direct supervision, you will learn industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols on active job sites.

You will travel to job sites as required while supporting technicians with basic tasks and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. No minimum experience is required, and training is provided.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No minimum experience required for entry.
• Must follow instructions and work under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

The Sprinkler Install Support Technician assists in the installation of fire sprinkler systems. The Support Technician works under direct supervision and assists with basic tasks while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist technicians with installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Use hand tools and equipment under direct supervision.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Observe and learn proper installation techniques.
• Support documentation and reporting processes as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team members on active job sites.
• Perform tasks as directed and does not independently perform jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No minimum experience required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).

Other Duties:

• Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
• Performs other duties assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
