Job summary

The Gardner School in Denver, CO is seeking a dedicated Support Teacher to assist lead teachers in our preschool classrooms. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment and engage children with development‑driven activities to support learning and growth.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Colorado Shines Level 2), CPR/First Aid readiness or willingness to obtain it, and a desire to grow within our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Meets Level 2 Colorado Shines requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Previous experience in early childhood settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in meaningful interactions that support development.
• Step into classrooms to support Assistant Teachers during breaks or absences.
• Help maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and routine.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with teachers and leadership.
• Model a supportive and flexible team‑oriented attitude.
• Supervise children and maintain safety standards.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and licensing regulations.
• Assist in maintaining child-to-staff ratios and completing classroom tasks.
