Job summary

Primrose School of West Allen in Allen, TX is seeking an early childhood teacher or assistant to lead a classroom and support student growth. You will supervise a group of children, implement the Balanced Learning curriculum, and foster a culture of exploration and confidence.

The role emphasizes building genuine relationships, maintaining a well‑kept classroom, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.

• Utilize your unique skills to create a classroom culture.
• Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Observe all rules and regulations at Primrose School of West Allen and all applicable health, safety and care regulations.
• Work with your co‑teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research‑informed Balanced Learning® curriculum.
• Maintain a well‑kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
• Make a difference every day.
• Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
• Help children explore the world, improve their motor skills and grow their vocabulary.
