Qualifications

• Must possess current registration as an SLPA with the Florida Department of Health and Regulation Board of Speech Language Pathology at the time of appointment and must maintain current registration throughout employment in this classification.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist the SLP in supplementing, enhancing, and extending speech/language therapy services by completing tasks such as direct activities with students to develop pre-language and language skills.
• Perform motor control activities for speech production and support use of assistive technology devices for communication.
• Support therapy delivery within Exceptional Student Education settings.
