Job summary

The School District Of Osceola County is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support our school meal program at Neptune Elementary School in St. Cloud, FL.

The role is 4.50 hours per day and involves assisting with food preparation, cooking, and serving in an elementary school setting. Minimum duties include following oral and written instructions, working well with others, and operating standard commercial kitchen equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; work well with others.
• Some experience in quantity food prep and equipment use.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds (55 with assistance) and tolerate temperature ranges.
• Able to stand for long periods and to use cleaning chemicals safely.
