Job summary

Positive Outlooks LLC in Connecticut seeks compassionate Support Staff to assist individuals with brain injuries in their rehabilitation journey, providing emotional support, practical assistance, and therapeutic engagement to promote independence and recovery.

You will support daily living activities, coordinate with therapists and medical professionals, encourage participation in exercises, document progress, and maintain a safe, supportive environment for clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or training in healthcare, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with brain injuries or other disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding attitude towards individuals facing challenges due to brain injuries.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits as required.

• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge regarding brain injury rehabilitation and support techniques.
