Job summary

LP Hospitality Group is seeking a friendly Runner/Busser for Cull & Pistol Oyster Bar. This fast-paced role supports dining room operations, assists guests with menu items, and helps the kitchen with expediting.

You’ll maintain tables, restock essentials, and ensure a smooth guest experience. The position offers an hourly wage of $11.35 plus tip potential, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a Michelin-acclaimed restaurant family.

Qualifications

• Previous bussing and/or food running experience (1+ years’) in a high-volume full-service restaurant.
• Ability to effectively communicate and connect with guests.
• Warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy restaurant environment.
• Exceptional time management and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Evening & Weekend availability is a must.

Responsibilities

• Full table maintenance including pre-bussing, clearing, marking, watering, and re-setting tables.
• Setup and breakdown of the dining room.
• Mantiates on hand stock of plates, silverware, glasses, etc. throughout service.
• Explains food and beverage selections in detail to guests.
• Assists the kitchen team with expediting.
• Runs food to guests.
• Responds to and anticipates guests expectations throughout service.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Rate: $11.35/hour (plus $30-$45/hour in tips!).

Working conditions

This job operates in a professional restaurant environment. This role routinely requires the use of computers and other electronic devices. The host station is small, and traffic is high. The workspace is on 2 levels and the ability to use stairs is required. This is an FLSA non-exempt hourly position on the restaurant floor.

Essential Functions

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending and movement throughout the space.

• Expression/exchange of ideas both verbally and through non-verbal means.

• Must be able to obtain impressions through the eyes.

• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination.

• Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying loads of up to 15 lbs.

• Tolerance of heat, cold, and loud/noisy environments.
