Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. is hiring a Support Associate in Wilmington, NC to support a customer- and product-focused sales culture. You will handle merchandise, stock processing, and stockroom organization while delivering MAPS service to customers.

Qualifications

• Able to work majority of shift standing.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process merchandise, ensuring items are properly stored, ticketed and easily located for replenishment; reorganize merchandise as needed.
• Ensure new products are merchandised and represented in a timely manner.
• Enter receiving documents into the system; reconcile invoices and complete store transfers as applicable.
• Ensure visual materials and signage are processed timely; store stockroom hardware and supplies.
• Participate in pricing changes and markdowns.
• Alert store management to cash supply needs.
• Assist with visual directives, floorsets and signage as directed; maintain boutique cleanliness.
• Model and promote MAPS customer service principles for an omni-channel experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Support Associate is responsible for supporting a customer and product-focused sales culture where our core principles are at the forefront of all store operations. This is achieved through performing various sales operations functions, including merchandise handling, stock processing, and stockroom organization.

Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

• Process merchandise, ensuring items are properly stored, ticketed and easily located for replenishment for the sales floor; reorganize merchandise as needed to maximize stock space.
• Ensure new products are properly merchandised and represented in a timely manner.
• Enter all receiving documents into the computer system; reconcile merchandise invoices to items received as applicable. Complete store-to-store transfers and Locate requests accurately and timely.
• Ensure visual packet materials, props and signage are received and processed in a timely manner; properly store stockroom hardware, hangers, sign holders, etc.
• Participate in pricing changes and markdowns.
• Alert store management to cash supply needs.
• Assist with visual directives, including floorsets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc. as directed.
• Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.

• Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Physical Requirements

• Constant Walking/Standing- 67-100% of 8-hour shift
• Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of 8-hour shift
• Frequent Climbing- 34%-66% of 8-hour shift
