Job summary

Bergdorf Goodman is seeking a Shipping Associate to help keep our flagship store stocked, visually appealing, and ready for customers. You will assist with receiving, processing shipments, pricing, labeling, and maintaining stock records.

Key responsibilities include stocking merchandise, collaborating with the visual team to uphold store aesthetics, and providing knowledgeable customer assistance. A 1+ year retail background and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

• Basic proficiency with Google Suite.
• Associates must work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed on the sales floor, including restocking and replenishing items as needed.
• Work with the visual team to maintain store aesthetics and follow visual guidelines to create an appealing shopping environment.
• Assist in receiving and processing merchandise shipments, including checking for accuracy and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all inventory-related tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being knowledgeable about products, assisting customers with locating items, and answering any questions or concerns they may have.
• Keep the stock room and sales floor organized and tidy, ensuring merchandise is easily accessible and displayed according to company standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock levels, inventory needs, and any other relevant information.

You Will Be

What You Will Do

• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, including pricing, labeling, and maintaining stock records

What You Will Bring

• 1+ year of retail experience
• Demonstrate flexibility with competing tasks with a "win together" mentality
• Basic proficiency with Google Suite
• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds
• Associates must work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary And Other Benefits

The hourly range for this position is $18/hr. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
