Job summary

Technica LLC seeks a Supply Technician Lead to support missions at Fort Wainwright. The role involves data handling for supply orders, GCSS-Army operations, and managing inventory and hand receipts to ensure accurate material flow.

The candidate should have GCSS-Army experience, strong knowledge of Army supply policies, and excellent communication skills to service customers and coordinate with the Technica Supervisor on site.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, and policies.
• At least 1 year of GCSS-Army experience preferred.
• Understand needs of the organization/units served.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook.
• At least 1 year experience in Property Book or Supply Support Activity.
• Knowledge of Army Regulations for Property and Supply.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand/sit for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; read, write, and speak English.
• Preferred MOS 92A/92Y in prior military.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technica Supervisor as needed.
• Report to Technica Supervisor or Site Supervisor.
• Compile and record data from customer supply orders using GCSS-Army.
• Maintain files in accordance with rules and policies using GCSS-Army.
• Manage hand receipts, inventory adjustments, transfers, and update authorization in GCSS-Army.
• Post supply status and receipt information to the activity register.
• Receive, store, and issue various materials.
• Physically inventory materials and note discrepancies.
• Route materials to prescribed storage locations.
• Store, stack, or palletize materials per storage methods.
• Rearrange and inventory stored materials.
• Sort, categorize, receive and issue equipment to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or related to operations.
