Job summary

Altus Technology Solutions in Melrose, NM is seeking a Supply Technician to perform inventory management, property accountability, and processing of supply transactions.

You will maintain records in IMDS/ILS-S/DPAS, coordinate with maintenance, and support mission needs while complying with DoD directives. Must have active DoD SECRET clearance and a high school diploma; experience with automated systems and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance required (interim clearance before start).
• High school education or equivalent.
• Relevant experience as a Supply Technician or in related logistics roles.
• Experience with automated inventory or supply management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property accountability, and material utilization.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct reconciliations.
• Receive, issue, store, transfer, and account for government property and supplies.
• Process supply transactions using Automated Information Systems.
• Maintain supply docs/records per Air Force and DoD requirements.
• Assist with property accountability and equipment tracking throughout lifecycle.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform technical supply management activities including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property accountability, and material utilization.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct inventory reconciliation activities.
• Receive, issue, store, transfer, and account for government property and supplies.
• Process supply transactions using Automated Information Systems.
• Maintain accurate supply documentation and records in accordance with Air Force and Department of Defense requirements.
• Assist with property accountability and equipment tracking throughout the equipment lifecycle.
• Interpret and apply contract requirements, Statements of Work (SOW), Air Force guidance, and DoD directives.
• Support ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and disposition of supplies.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operational personnel to ensure equipment and materials are available to support mission requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and supply management databases to prepare reports and maintain records.
• Support inventory audits and property inspections.
• Operate government or company vehicles as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of range operations.

Requirements

• Active U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance (Must have interim clearance before start date)
• High school education or equivalent.
• Relevant experience as a Supply Technician or in a related logistics or supply management role.
• Working knowledge of technical supply management principles and inventory control.
• Experience with automated inventory or supply management systems preferred

• Integrated Logistics System – Supply (ILS-S)
• Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
• Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS)
• Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS)
• Global Ammunition Control Point (GACP)

General Understanding Of Range Support Systems, Including

• Joint Threat Emitter (JTE)
• MST-T1A / MUTES
• MST-T1(V) / Mini-MUTES
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience entering and maintaining data within automated information systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-focused environment.

Work Conditions

Conditions will vary. Capable of working outdoors in temperatures ranging from 0-100 degrees. The position will include regular standing, bending, reaching, sitting, walking, and lifting. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Overtime may be necessary from time to time depending on workload.
