Job summary

V2X Inc in Lake Charles, LA seeks a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage government property, MILSTRIP processes, and shipping of aircraft parts. You will support Navy E-6B logistics and coordinate with liaison officers and contractors.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or 4 years of related supply experience, are able to communicate clearly, and are eligible for DoD clearance. The role offers comprehensive healthcare, retirement benefits, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Navy logistics experience is preferred for handling military parts.
• Proficiency with automated information systems and MILSTRIP processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; security clearance eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of Government Property throughout acquisition and disposition.
• Provide direct logistics support to the E-6B aircraft Heavy Depot Line.
• Coordinate with Navy Liaison Officers and Depot Contractors for parts ordering, purchasing, and delivery.
• Coordinate with Vertex purchasing, expeditors, and leadership to ensure timely supply documents.
• Conduct receiving inspection to verify conformant parts are delivered to the customer.
• Package and ship aircraft parts to suppliers for repairs.
• Provide daily parts status updates to the customer.
• Participate in weekly E-6B updates to leadership.
• Manage and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness of work center per policy.
• Receive and ship Support Equipment and IMRL items as required.
• Comply with all company, government and contract facility policies.
• Process MILSTRIP procedures for requisitioning and issuing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
