THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number T5279000 and is part of the UNITED STATES PROPERTY AND FISCAL OFFICE, National Guard.

This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.

Duties

As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (GS-2005-07), you will provide storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems.

Requirements

• Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
• May be required to successfully complete a two year trial period.
• Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
• The incumbent of this position description must have at a minimum, a completed National Agency Check (NAC) prior to position assignment.
• Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
• The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
• The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle and if so, an appropriate valid driver’s license is required.
• For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
