MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a division of Element Solutions Inc., is seeking a seasoned SIOP Supply Planning Manager to align production capacity, materials, inventory, and customer demand across our global business in New Haven, CT.

You will lead the monthly SIOP process, drive improvements, and mentor a planning team while collaborating with manufacturing, finance, and commercial leaders to meet service levels and optimize working capital.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning and SIOP in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching and developing planning professionals.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the monthly SIOP Supply Review, including capacity planning and demand-supply alignment.
• Drive supply chain improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve order-to-cash efficiency.
• Develop and maintain 18-month rolling inventory and shipment projections.
• Manage planning master data including time fences, safety stock, and lead times.
• Lead, coach, and develop the supply planning team with clear priorities.
• Collaborate across functions to implement standardized planning processes and governance.

Who are we looking for?

The SIOP Supply Planning Manager is a key member of the Supply Chain team, responsible for aligning production capacity, material availability, inventory, and customer demand across the global business. This role leads the supply planning process and is accountable for achieving inventory, schedule compliance, product availability, and service-level targets.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the monthly SIOP Supply Review, including capacity planning, demand and supply alignment, scenario evaluation, and presentation of forecast impacts and recommendations to manufacturing, finance, commercial, and business leadership.
• Drive supply chain improvement initiatives that resolve demand and supply imbalances, reduce process and system waste, and improve order-to-cash efficiency.
• Develop and maintain monthly 18-month rolling inventory and shipment projections aligned with capacity, demand, and financial plans.
• Manage and maintain planning master data and item-level parameters, including time fences, minimum order quantities, safety stock, and lead times, to support service-level, inventory, and demand plan objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the supply planning team, establishing clear priorities, performance expectations, and succession plans.
• Collaborate across functions and organizational levels to implement a world-class supply planning program and strengthen standardized planning processes, tools, and governance.

Who are You?

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or another STEM discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP/SIOP) within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing supply planning professionals.
• Proven success in production scheduling, capacity planning, material requirements planning, demand and supply balancing, and inventory management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP or JDE, planning and scheduling tools, master data governance processes, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
• APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, apply appropriate planning methodologies and tools, and deliver projects on schedule.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, evaluate trade-offs, and make informed, data-driven decisions.

• Experience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, SAP IBP, APO, Kinaxis, or similar platforms.

• Financial and commercial awareness, including inventory and working capital management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to lead change, drive process improvements, and build high-performing planning processes.

The typical base salary range for this position is between $109,000 and $164,000. Base salary is determined based on a combination of factors including experience, skillset, and education.
