Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a supply chain capacity planning professional to support an 18-month horizon, partnering with manufacturing, supply planning, finance, materials and demand planning to deliver resilient capacity to meet fill rate targets and cost objectives.

The role focuses on sourcing optimization, network strategy, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing network, balancing capacity, inventory and cost while supporting growth and innovation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business or related field; 5+ years relevant experience may substitute.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within CPG or food industries.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP, Power BI, Excel; SAP and Power BI strongly preferred.
  • APICS CPIM certification preferred.

  • Understand supply chain planning practices and impact of inputs like forecast accuracy and production reliability.
  • Automate, simplify and improve processes across internal teams.
  • Plan/communicate/present and execute programs, influencing multi-disciplinary supply chain stakeholders.
  • Operate in a cross-functional matrix environment with layered responsibilities.
  • Create metrics, perform analyses and generate reports with minimal IT resources.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to champion change and drive continuous improvement.

About The Job

This role will support our 18-month capacity planning process and provide input into key monthly S&OP GPS deliverables. This role will engage with other key functions such as manufacturing, supply planning, finance, materials and demand planning to ensure we have a resilient plan to deliver the required capacity to support fill rate targets, cost targets and growth/innovation plans.

This role will engage with other key functions such as manufacturing, supply planning, finance, materials and demand planning to ensure we have a resilient plan to deliver the required capacity to support fill rate targets, cost targets and growth/innovation plans.

This role will conduct sourcing optimization and capacity strategy activities across the manufacturing network. Partner with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Project, Brand, and Finance teams to develop sourcing strategies, support innovation commercialization, optimize network performance, and ensure reliable product supply while balancing capacity utilization, inventory, and cost objectives. This role will support strategic projects, network transformations, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance and support long-term business growth.

  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. This role is considered a "hybrid" position that allows for flexible work, meaning it is a role where collaboration with key stakeholders in Danone Hubs occurs. While you may have the option to work from home on a schedule as agreed to with your supervisor, you are also expected to regularly report to your assigned office location at least 3 days per week.

About You
Job Qualifications
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain, business or related subjects- will consider work experience in lieu of 5+ years relevant experience.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within CPG or food industries.
  • You will have experience using ERP/MRP, PBI, Excel and advanced planning systems. Experience with 09, SAP and Power BI strongly preferred.
  • You preferably are certified by APICS, Certified Production Inventory Manager (CPIM) certification preferred.
