JOB CODE: SUP1, SUP8

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serves in the capacity of a substitute teacher in the absence of the media specialist.

Requirements

• Educational Level: Bachelor Degree required; Master Degree preferred
• Certification/License Required: None; Georgia Library Media Specialist Certification preferred
• Experience: 1 year experience in a media center or classroom preferred
• Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and oral communication, student management, basic technology skills

The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.
