Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Supply Clerk for the Receiving Dock (Finance) in Madison. This full-time role supports the healthcare team by ensuring timely delivery of medical/surgical supplies, linen and equipment to physicians, nurses and staff.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment using hospital computer systems for inventory management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
  • Relevant experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Ability to use computer applications and systems for inventory and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Manage receiving at the loading dock, ensuring supply availability for physicians, nurses and staff.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and timely transitions of medical supplies, linen and equipment.
  • Utilize multiple computer applications to support inventory control and housekeeping tasks.

Supply Clerk – Receiving Dock (Finance)

Work Schedule :

This is a full-time, 100% FTE position. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 7:40 AM to 4:10 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Supply Clerk to:


  • Work on our loading dock and to ensure physicians, nurses, and others have everything needed to care for our patients - medical/surgical supplies, linen, and equipment.

  • Use their attention to detail and organizational skills in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

  • Interact with a variety of computer applications to ensure timely and accurate inventory transitions.
