Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group in Des Moines is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to perform essential inventory, equipment distribution, and obsolescence management across healthcare settings. You will stock general med-surg supplies, coordinate with end users to resolve supply issues, and support data entry and payment activities.

This role requires a High School Diploma, potential forklift/driver's license, and prior healthcare supply chain experience; you will work Monday through Friday with 70%+

Qualifications

• Have previous supply chain experience in healthcare, warehousing, or distribution environments.
• Must have or be able to obtain any required training or competency tests.
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Responsibilities

• Requests, receives, distributes equipment and manages obsolescence of supplies.
• Stocks general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings and maintains organized storage areas.
• Provides inventory and data support for Supply Chain activities (70%+ of time).
• Assists the Supply Chain Leader with special assignments.

Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression) Technician Duties include requesting, receiving, distributing equipment & obsolescence management & stocking of general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings. Works with end users as necessary to request supplies, troubleshoot supply issues, & resolve discrepancies as they occur. Maintains work & supply storage areas & equipment in a clean, up to date, organized & safe condition Performs periodic PAR level replenishment duties using various resupply procedures to maintain stock levels Serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for ordering, data entry & payment activities. Assists Supply Chain Leader with special assignments. 70%+ time provide inventory or data support

Minimum Qualifications

Have received a High School Diploma or equivalent. Be able to complete additional education, training and competency tests as required. Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)

Previous Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or other distribution environment.
