Providence Portland Medical Ctr is seeking an entry-level Supply Chain Technician in Portland, OR. The role supports receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, and replenishment, plus input of patient charges as directed.

You will work with care teams to ensure a smooth supply chain experience at the local ministry/site. Under supervision, you will participate in daily operations across acute care ministries and clinics.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and directly applicable related work experience.
• Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment recommended, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used.

The Supply Chain Technician is an entry-level position based in the local ministry this position supports. This position is responsible for typical supply chain operations and logistics functions to include receiving, distribution, picking, put‑away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking as well as input of patient charges as directed.

This position also is responsible for working with customers within their specific ministry ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience at the local ministry/site for all caregivers they serve.

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations supports daily Supply Chain operations and logistics functions at acute care ministries, medical group clinics, long term care facilities and warehouse operations for their respective ministry.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
