Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Supply and Distribution team member to stock medical supplies, linen, and equipment across Shelby Hospital and affiliated sites. You will verify receipts, manage inventories, and replenish stock according to schedules and urgent requests.

Responsibilities include safe handling of materials, completing STAT orders, and supporting a clean, organized work environment. Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to perform basic math functions and use computer systems.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and word processors.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Stock medical supplies, linen and equipment and ensure items are clearly identified.
  • Validate received product/quantity via pack slips, licenses, or barcodes.
  • Deliver and replenish supplies to designated areas per schedule or special request.
  • Complete STAT orders within requester timelines.
  • Use powered/manual material handling devices safely.
  • Place unit/location specific orders using handheld devices and inventory systems.
  • Travel between sites as required within the Freestanding Emergency Department Network.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow department cleaning schedules.
  • Report errors and discrepancies through proper channels.
  • Manage product rotation and expiration dates.

Validates correct product/quantity was received via pack slips, delivers, and replenishes supplies, linens, and equipment (where applicable) to designated areas based on routine schedules or by special request. Complete STAT orders in accordance with the requester timeline and the communicated response. Uses proper powered and/or manual material handling devices for safe movement of supplies, linen, and equipment (where applicable).
